Using laser treatment for vascular lesions: broken capillaries, spider veins, rosacea, and more in Kirkland is an affordable, effective method of removing vascular lesions. You may wonder how it works and what steps are taken in the process.
This is how it works.
- Pulses of laser light are pointed toward the entire area around the blemish.
- The blemish or lesion soaks up the laser’s energy, and the unmarred skin around it does not.
- After the treatment, the damaged blood vessels break down and are, therefore, much less visible than before.
The procedure is rapid and allows you to walk out of our spa and straight back to your routine. The process itself only takes a few minutes, depending on the size of the lesion. You will need to make sure you stay out of the sun until the area is completely healed, and you no longer have a scab. Healing can take anywhere from three to ten days, depending on the sensitivity of your skin and the size of the blemish. Patients usually describe the pain as a rubber band snapping, and very mild.
At LeVisage Wellness Center & Spa, we use the Clarity laser Lutronic Laser. This laser specializes in both hair removal and removing the appearance of vascular inconsistencies. It has two wavelengths within the same device to be able to target different skin tones, ensuring that the laser will work for everyone.
